A new construction residential compound near the Great Wass Island Preserve off the coast of Maine, rooted in a sense of place within the island landscape. Collections of natural objects & ephemera, inspired by Georgia O’Keefe at Abiquiu; mobiles inspired by Alexander Calder, referencing a nearby bird sanctuary; plaster / parge coat elements depicting local flora + fauna, inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s abstractions and Art Nouveau reliefs.
